If you edit them (just like a minilab from an 1 hour photo, color balance, contrast) would (but of cause do a better job from the minilab), they would be even better yet! But so far I am liking the ektar, couple of my friend does not like it.
The Georgia laws in regards to NON-commercial street photography distinguishes between public property versus public space, or private property versus private space. You cannot take pictures without permission of people in private spaces, such as for example, a public bathroom because it is a private space. But you can take photographs of people at a farmers market because it is a public space, although it is likely here (in the US) to be private property.

Just a quick note, we are not allowed to take photos on some parts of the underground in the UK.
