Weekly Photo Challenge: Green
I was not planning on ever publishing this picture taken at the intersection of I-20 and I-85, but the theme of this weekly challenge made it too tempting.
Pentax Spotmatic II, Helios-44M-4 58/f2, Kodak Portra 160. Unedited.
After taking a picture of the two signs with the idea of naming it Between Augusta and Birmingham, I noticed the long green truck on its way. I then waited for the right moment when the truck would be in the frame I had just composed with the two signs. It was during my lunch hour, the same day I took pictures of the helicopter at the Capitol. It was a lucky day indeed.
An amusing visual coincidence, nevertheless. 🙂

Thank you for sharing, I can suddenly imagine the scene!
Yes, it is great for the theme!
Have a great weekend Steve!
Can’t get more suited for the challenge than this!!!
I really like that name, Small house, big garden. That’s the way it should be.
thank you, steve! that’s a wicked nice compliment!
Very neat, one of the most relevant photo challenge posts I’ve ever seen. 🙂
Thanks. Different from the usual green tree, that’s for sure.
